20 years of Classic Ford Show
The weather couldn’t have been more perfect for Classic Ford Show 2024, with glorious sunshine all day long. The atmosphere was electric, filled with the undeniable passion and excitement that comes from a gathering of classic Ford lovers. Even the closure of the nearby M25 junctions didn’t deter the dedication of these Blue Oval fans. They would not be deterred from firing up their classics and showing them off to a bunch of like-minded fans. This year, the show celebrated its 20th birthday in style.
Great Unveiling
One of the most highly anticipated features of the Classic Ford Show was The Great Unveiling. These classic Ford projects had been meticulously kept under wraps, their progress shrouded in secrecy, until they were finally completed just in time for the show. And boy, did they deliver! The Great Unveiling, in association with Car Gods, was a spectacle like no other. These long-awaited masterpieces were revealed for the very first time at the Classic Ford Show, leaving attendees in awe and marvelling at the dedication and craftsmanship that had gone into these projects.
This year the projects revealed included a Mk2 Granada with a Toyota 2JZ engine, a highly modified pink Mk2 Fiesta, a stunning Mk2 Escort Mexico, and a gorgeous bubble-arch Mk1 Escort. 55 Years of the Capri

From the early Mk1s to the sleek Mk3s, every generation of this beloved classic was represented. And of course, each car had its own unique story to tell. It was a sight to behold, a true testament to the timeless allure of the Capri.
Classic Ford Magazine
Inside the Queen’s Hall, the beating heart of the Classic Ford Show, Classic Ford magazine took centre stage. The stand buzzed with activity throughout the day. It hosted live interviews with owners and showcased a selection of the most impressive feature cars from the past year. And for those looking to take a piece of the show home, the merchandise stand offered Classic Ford branded apparel, stickers, and even back issues of the magazine.
If you thought these special cars inside the Queen’s Hall were the best you’d seen, you weren’t wrong. This specially curated Top 50 display in partnership with Burton Power presented the crème de la crème of classic Fords in the UK. It was a visual feast, a collection of the most stunning, well-preserved, and best-modded Fords that left visitors in awe and envy.
Club Displays
Not forgetting the Club Displays, where owners proudly presented their pre-2004 Fords, showing off their beloved rides with fellow club members. Or they could enter the dedicated Special Display area. This was a display of individuality, with each car reflecting its owner’s personal touch and passion.
Retail Village
The Retail Village at the show was a treasure trove of automotive goodies. From parts and accessories to unique finds that add that extra wow factor to your classic Ford, it was a haven for enthusiasts looking for that special something to enhance their pride and joy.
