Air Lift Performance has announced a new air suspension kit for the latest Toyota Corolla model.
There was a time where air suspension was frowned upon by a large majority of car modifiers. You wouldn’t have thought so now if you looked at the car culture scene, though. The development of air suspension over the years has meant that you can indeed have maximum lows without compromising handling or comfort. As a result, some kits are amongst the best suspension options available for your modified car.
Air Lift Performance are one of those manufacturers that focus on creating a kit that allows for maximum lows, as well as sharp handling and steering response. In fact, the combination of air springs over high-performance monotubes allows for 30-level damping adjustment…
Tell me about the Air Lift suspension kit for the Toyota Corolla
Air Lift Performance has launched new front and rear kits for the 2019-2023 Toyota Corolla Hatchback and 2020-2023 Sedan, but in FWD or AWD configuration.
The front kits, believe it or not, feature more adjustability than some of your top-level coilover suspension. It comprises of progressive rate, double bellows air springs over a monotube and threaded body shocks. This allows not only for a maximum of 90mm drop (3.5″) over stock, but also features 30-level damping adjustment so you can fine tune your driving experience to the surface you’re driving on.
At the rear, double-bellow air springs combine with vehicle-specific mounting packets and threaded-body shocks, allowing for the same 30-level damping adjustment. Height can be dropped by a maximum of 115mm over stock (that’s 4.5″).
Prices for the kit start from $1,095. If you are installing air suspension for the first time, you’ll also need other hardware for it to operate. This includes air lines, a compressor, a tank and a management system. Prices for complete kits start from $2,425.
