Hennessey has lifted the covers off its Corvette C8 H700, which sees the addition of a supercharger amongst other modifications to produce 44 percent more power and 37 percent more torque.

Producing 490bhp and 465lb ft of torque from a mid-mounted 6.2-liter V8 engine, a stock C8 Corvette is hardly a slouch. But Hennessey has decided that things could be turned up a notch. While the fastest C8 Corvette, the Z06, leaves the factory with 670bhp and 460lb ft of torque, Hennessey has bested those figures thanks to the addition of a supercharger as well as other supporting upgrades. The result is 707bhp and a whopping 638lb ft of torque.

Alongside the supercharger, the H700 C8 Corvette, which also happens to be a hard top convertible (HTC), gets an air-to-water intercooler and a new cat-back exhaust. Elsewhere, there’s an upgraded fuel system to help deliver extra fuel and an new air intake system to push more air into the engine. The base of all car tuning is more air and fuel into the engine, after all. To wrap it all together, there’s Hennessey’s own ECU tune.

What else is available on the Hennessey Corvette C8 Convertible?

Those looking for a little more customization can opt for an active-valve exhaust system, forged 19-inch alloy wheels and a Hennessey C8 Heritage Livery. All packages also receive Hennessey and H700 badging as well as a serial numbered plaque.

John Hennessey, founder and CEO: “Our supercharged C8 Convertible boosts America’s favorite sports car to extraordinary performance levels. We’ve unleashed the power that Chevrolet left on the table, boosting output by more than 200 bhp. Few cars, especially at this price, can deliver this level of power, acceleration, and engaging open-air driving experience alongside the Corvette’s distinctive V8 roar.”

The Hennessey H700 package is available for all C8 Corvette models from 2020-2024. As always, Hennessey offers a three-year / 36,000 mile limited warranty.
