Motorsport News is on the hunt for its National Racing Driver of the Year and it needs your help.

Our experts have hand-picked a shortlist of 10 outstanding stars of the season just gone across all of the circuit disciplines: sportscars, single-seaters and saloons.

While Ash Sutton might have bulldozed his way to a fourth British Touring Car Championship crown in his NAPA Racing UK Ford Focus, all around the racing landscape there were all kinds of noteworthy triumphs. We have collected together some of the best of the year and we need you to help us crown the victor in the third Motorsport News National Racing Driver of the Year vote.

Simply click on the list to highlight your favourite and make your voice heard. The results will be published in the Awards special issue of Motorsport News on November 30.

Previous winners have come from both the British GT Championship and BTCC arena, and it will be fascinating to see if any of the other pretenders can topple the established stars.

Motorsport News editor Matt James said: “The motor racing scene might have seen some record-breaking performances in its top-level British Touring Car Championship from Ash Sutton, the rest of the national racing landscape has been packed with breakthrough talents and there are a number of exciting young prospects who are making a real name for themselves. We have cast our net wide and thought hard about the 10 who have been included on the final MN shortlist.

“What they also serve to highlight is the variety and, ultimately, the competitiveness of motor racing on Britain’s circuits – something which you can read about in the pages of Motorsport News each week. We look forward to revealing who our readers think has been the stand-out star of the year just gone.”
